NOCTURNAL SHORT FILM (2018)

During Spring 2018 I co-designed, sourced and broke-down costumes for the student short film Nocturnal, directed by Esther Conroy. The horror film was selected for the Sixth Sense Film Festival in India. It followed the story of a woman who senses she is being watched in her own house. She believes this is all in her head, but when items go missing and things are mysteriously moved, she begins to explore the idea that she may not be alone in this house. The suspense builds as it is revealed that she is sharing her house with a squatter, hiding in her crawl space, determined to do her harm. The costumes for the piece were modern and designed to conform to the directors colour schemes. The resulting visuals are shown above.
