DIAPASON

In Winter of 2018 I was part of a collaboration with Alex Rigg of Oceanallover to design and make a series of costumes for his performance of his original piece 'Diapason'. The costumes had to allow for movement and be adaptable to fit any size, to allow any performer or audience member to wear them. My costume adapted through use of drawstrings and adjustable waistbands. It was inspired by shells and protective layers, designed to encase the performer, allowing them to remove layers as they felt more comfortable.
